NRI Of The Year Awards for Entrepreneurs | America, Europe, Middle East & Asia Pacific

Set up shop abroad and excelled in it? If you are your own boss, tell us your story

These awards are open for individuals who own businesses, helm them with panache, post profits and inspire clones. And, the good news is that at NRI of the year awards, we’ve rolled out a magic carpet that spans across industries and sectors rather than slant on sunshine sectors. As we’ve said earlier, diversity is at the heart of these awards and our hands are outstretched enough to include, but not limited to, assorted sectors like the tech companies of Silicon Valley, restaurants, motels, hospitality mavens, trading and technology companies in Singapore, retail chains in the UAE, brand distributors, media moguls and counting. Please let us know if we’ve missed out on anything and we’ll be happy to include it.

Again, we’re not so bullish on turnovers, company size or statistics as we are on ideas, innovative best practices, novel CSR initiatives, novelty, spreading Indian-ness (through food, yoga etc.), pioneering designs, industry firsts and anything and everything that’s been branded benchmark and out-of-the-box.

  • Participant’s organization must have a workforce of minimum ten (10) employees on the company payroll as on June 30, 2015
  • Participant’s organization must be in existence for a minimum of two years as on June 30, 2015

Given our largesse of heart, we like spreading out and opening our arms. Thus, the ‘Entrepreneurs’ category at NRI of the year awards is open to people residing across the four geographies America (Canada, USA), Asia-Pacific (Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore), Middle-East (Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE) and the United Kingdom & Europe. In each of these geographies, we’ll give away one award in academics. In other words, there will be a total of 4 awards up for grabs in the ‘Entrepreneurs’ category alone. Starting that night, there’ll be 4 fresh beacons of knowledge to dispel the darkness of ignorance
